Whooping Cough Revisited

Articles by Dr. Erdman are for informational purposes, and are not to be taken as specific medical advice.

I had another article about mothers and babies’ immunology in line for this week, but I just can’t pass up the recent news on the ineffectiveness of the whooping cough vaccine.

Here is a quick refresher on medicine’s view of vaccines. They totally believe that receiving a vaccine for whooping cough is the same as actually getting it. We know this to be completely false in the world of real scientific evidence.  Their own evidence bears this out. They have real data showing real failure of the current vaccine. They show that after the last ‘booster’ at around six years of age, the ‘protection’ rate falls from 95% to 71% in five years. Now, do you think your natural immunity, from getting the disease itself, would forget how to fight this disease in five years? No, it’s impossible.

The information that the whooping cough vaccine ‘wanes’ in effectiveness has been known for years.  Its just that this year there is a major outbreak of it in vaccinated people all over the USA.  Back in 2010, there was a major outbreak in California. They had over 1500 cases of reported whooping cough, and 10 infants allegedly died.

Instead of telling everybody the truth that the vaccine does nothing, they blamed it on ‘pockets of unvaccinated’ populations. What? Their own CDC data shows no major changes in vaccination rates since 1992, and that the cases reported were spread evenly between counties with high and low rates of vaccination. That is their typical sleight of hand. The average Joe doesn’t know they are lying. Public health officials have known since the early 1990’s that the B Pertussis bacteria have been evolving and have become vaccine resistant, making the vaccine even less effective as time goes on.

There are three things, in any medical crisis involving vaccines, that the establishment in medicine aims to do. Number one is to emphasize the diseases risks and complications while ignoring vaccine risks and complications. Number two is to place the blame for disease outbreaks, complications and deaths on the unvaccinated. And lastly, they attack the availability of religious and personal conviction exemptions in current states’ laws. You hear some variation of these every time an outbreak occurs.

Outbreaks of common bacterial diseases usually come in cycles. One year its measles, the next its pertussis, and the next its chicken pox or some other disease. It goes around, peoples immune systems come in contact with it again, get a natural boost in immunity, and then we don’t see it for years or decades due to our natural immune response. It is a normal cyclical pattern seen over many years, regardless of vaccination numbers. Think about it, it’s common sense.

Did you ever hear of other bacteria called parapertussis and RSV? They both mimic pertussis in symptomatology, and are commonly diagnosed as such. They are not part of the vaccine, nor is there any vaccine for them. Most cases of alleged whooping cough are not lab confirmed, and as such, are just a doctor’s diagnosis based on symptoms. So how many real cases of whooping cough are there in any one year, and why the big push for a vaccine that doesn’t work anyway, as if any of them ‘work’?

NBC’s chief medical editor Dr. Nancy Snyderman, talking about whooping cough, has said, ”If you are a woman of childbearing years, get vaccinated.” How many of those pregnant women, whose doctors aggressively urge them to get a ‘booster shot’, know that the Tdap vaccine has never been thoroughly studied in pregnant women? Here is a quote from the manufactures insert, “animal reproduction studies have not been conducted…it is not known whether [the vaccine] can cause fetal harm when administered to a pregnant woman, or can affect reproductive capacity. [The vaccine] has not been evaluated for carcinogenic or mutagenic potential, or for impairment of fertility.”

I don’t write these articles criticizing vaccines just to persuade you one way or the other. I simply want you to be able to make an informed decision. This information is supposed to be given to you for every medical service offered you at the doctor’s office. It’s called informed consent. Do you get both sides when the doctor belittles you for not vaccinating your child, or bullies you into it? The freedom of choosing what we want to expose our bodies to, and what voluntary decisions we are willing to risk our family’s lives for, should always be up to us. I don’t care if they come out with studies that show 100% effectiveness with zero side effects, I still want a choice for me and my family to say, “No thanks.” It is a human right and a freedom worth defending.
